Wow!  Already February!  This year is going by so quickly. I hope each of you had a wonderful weekend.

2/1 - Report Cards go home.  Please sign and return the envelope

2/2 - Boosterthon Pep Rally!

2/3 - Boosterthon begins

2/4 - Math Quiz over multiplying fractions by a whole number, adding and subtracting fractions, equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting mixed numbers, converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and vice versa, ordering fractions, and comparing fractions

Currently in Math, we are working with fractions.  Students have multiplied fractions by whole numbers, added and subtracted fractions, found equivalent fractions, simplified fractions, added and subtracted mixed numbers, and converted improper fractions to mixed numbers and vice versa.  This week we will be working on comparing and ordering fractions.

In Science, we are working from chapter 7, Plants and Animals.  Last week we learned about how flowering plants reproduce.  This week we are learning about inherited plant  and animal characteristics.
