In math this week we will continue working on factors and multiples.  We will also begin working with area and perimeter.

In science we are beginning a new unit on matter.  This week we are learning about properties of matter in chapter 4 lesson 1 and lesson 4.

This week in math we will begin Module 3.  We will be learning about factors and multiples, and prime and composite numbers.  This will lead in to multiplication of 3 digit by 1 digit numbers and 2 digit by 2 digit numbers.

In Science we are completing chapter 1.  A study guide will go home Tuesday and there will be a test this Thursday.

In Social Studies this week we will be learning about Florida's early native people.

Math - This week we will be looking at strategies for addition and subtraction in multi-step word problems.  We will have a test on the mokule 1 unit test on 9/16

Science - We will finish up chapter 1 this week in Science.  Students will be reading from chapter 1 lesson 4.
